Description
So here's the subject of my recent tutorial, Typhlosion.Since you all get tutorials on the technical stuff, I'll rant about the photomanip instead. xD
Yeah, so I wasn't happy with siding background, and the odd sizes make an awkward and long rectangle, so I turned it into what you see now. I'm still looking for the "perfect" layout, something that gives multiple angles and an overall shot as well as detail work (which this doesn't have.) The presentation is half the battle, ya know?

How did you get the color overlaps on the head? Is the yellow just layerd on the blue, or did you cut out what you needed and sew the pieces together?

Very, very cool. If people commision this for cosplay purposes, you think you might put in some wiring to make the flame spikes shoot up? I think it's possible but the exact method to do that is beyond my own experience at the moment.

It might be awkward, but probably not too hard. I would have a hard time packing it though if it was wired.

Hmm... very true about the packing. The only other idea I would have for that is insert-able wiring--a design where you can have it both ways (standing flames or floppy). The design would be much more complex, for sure.

Yah, a piece like that would take a big chunk of commission money for your efforts. I wasn't suggesting you make that kind of thing for stock--it would definitely do better as a custom commission, lol.

Well aside from a little misunderstanding on how the scarf wanted to be sewn, and the slowness of taking pictures for the tutorials, about six hours total.
