i am trying to make a toeto style hat, and am wanting my ears to look like these, but i have no idea how to go about doing that... do you think you could make a tutorial/write a help page for me?

Draw the shape of the ear first. Then mirror the the shape you want folded over along the top edge of the ear. Add seam allowances and your done! The real trick is you're folding the the ear at an angle to the tip, not simply vertically. Good luck!

How do you make the ears? I'm trying your tutorial to make a cat hat but I can't seem to cut out the right shape to make the ears....

Not a problem.
Cut 4 triangle/ear shape pieces. Sew them together in pairs. Turn them right-side-out. Leave the part where you want the ears unsewn or rip the seam out. Place the ears inside the seam, turn your hat back inside-out and then sew your ears right in the seam of the hat!
