Description Now, Finally it is finished. It took me 4 days from sketching to the finished piece. Normally I don't take so much time for one piece. But I wanted it to be a good piece this time with background and everything. For the Fairy I used a reverence picture. Wild Autumn Fairy by mizzd-stock
And because I used the first time watercolor I tried to do this after a tutorial in the book called "Traumhafte Elfen malen und zeichnen" (How to draw and paint fairies) by Linda Ravenscroft.

Wow, really nice and beautiful work. I like the way you played with so many colors. I´s been a long time since I don´t use watercolors, your work made think it would be a good idea to take them again.

Yeah, watercolors are nice, but gouache is my prefered medium... easier to handle.

Dazu brauch man nur eine einigermaßen gute Vorlage und dann muss man noch etwas genauer hinschaun und es ist kein Problem die natur ordentlich zu zeichnen und zu malen.

Findet man eigentlich ganz gut wenn man bei deviantart die resource sachen durchsucht. Oder man nimmt sich die natur selbst als beispiel. ich sammel auch immer gute vorlagen und leg die mir zusammen, damit ich ne sammlung hab wo ich nachschaun kann. fast jeder künstler macht das so.

Ich meine, wenn ich Zeit hätte und die Kunst wirklich meine Hauptaktivität wäre... Hätt ich´s wahrscheinlich eh so gemacht..
Aber jetzt, wo ich laufend programmieren und so zeugs machen muss...

I like this work. What catches my attention first is the title "Blackberry Fairy" and also the colors. I like how the watercolors goes well with the work. Its colors are smooth and soft so it would make the work even look more elegant and beautiful. I also like how you create the details on each element of this work; including the shadings and the gradients that would add more details to this work.

I worked very hard on the details, in thoose things I'm a perfectionist. I can't stopp untill everything is fully colored and with perfect shadow and details...
