I'm looking forward to it, but really nervous at the same time, the language is so different, and I only know a little Japanese, barely enough to get by in everyday life. So I will have to practice a lot

yeah thats true
but the best thing to do is a half year before you are going to take an intensive language course
and you will learn it when you live there

I want to see america too! And florance! I think if I went to Australia I would probably get paranoid (more than usual anyway) about all the poisoned creatures and such (I would never take my shoes off! ), though I would love to see the bush and the wild life

I agree, I'd be terrible! But I think I could deal with it for a chance to see the world (I'd make sure I had all my shots and make sure I knew what was really dangerous so I could look out for it)
