I visited a few of the places like the Sacred Heart, the Louvre, the river boat trip with the miniature Statue of Liberty made of pieces left over from the American one, and seen the replica of the Liberty's flame but, not up the Eiffel Tower. I was not keen to wait two hours or longer to get up the legs there by elevator.

We stayed for a week in a flat 3 minutes walking from the Arc de Triomphe and it was awesome. We hiked up the bottom two layers of the Eiffle Tower and it took a considerable amount energy and time. Then we took the elevator to the top (Thank goodness!). The view is brilliant, but there are so many people up there it's nearly impossible to walk around. There's even a gift shop/food vender-y area half way up. It was worth the effort though.
