Re-did an old photo converted to B&W, sepia photo filter, grain, and some burning.

as usual with your work. i like it. the tones and contrast are great. a few books are pretty bright, but the edges contrast them nicely i think. on the top right of the bookshelf, i think i would like it better if the edges wernt so dark, so you could see the lines of the top of the bookcase a little better. the top of the curve has a dark shadow under it and the darkening on the top kinda detracts from it, if it were a little lighter on top, the contrast would be better against the shadow under the top of the case (top shelf, 3rd collum on the right) i do like what the sepia tones do to it, the antique look is good, especially in a bookcase shot. the 'old' look is great, approiate feel for something like this.

Looks like a render image or something! It looks too "burned" for me :/ Especially those books in the... 3rd row, 2nd column U^^ But the rest is simply great

hehe thanks burned means darker and i believe that dodging a photo is to make lighter (I don't know if you knew but I thought I'd just let u know just in case ) I understand what you mean how its lighter There was more sunlight in the original photo there ! Thanks! Its weird coz it looks fine to me lol but thanks for the comment!!!!!!!
