on the surface of it this appears to be a really pleasant scene of friends or family enjoying a meal and each other's company. The odd thing is they don't seem to be outdoors. It feels more like a room with a curtain.

It's a calming picture for me because the people are posed in very natural, relaxed poses. If they are inside, I like the background. It's like their own special place to escape to.

Intriguing imagery. It makes me wonder why there seems to be a glass wall separating the picnicing women and what appears to be the outdoors. Despite this fact, they seem oblivious and even content. The plants are surreal, too. They look other-worldly.
