Description I recently saw someone rehashing their character throughout the years and thought it might be fun for the New Year... so here's 15 years of Nar.

2005 - Oh man, I can't say I could draw, but I can say that Nar existed before that year, at least in my mind. In 2005 I was 14. Nar had been around as a creature of my personal stories for years, but he was formally created that year to serve as a character in a roleplay game between a friend and I. Nar and Gilraen caused a lot of havoc. Nar was a terribly developed character, but you can't expect anything grand from a 14 year old either... ha!

2006 - I found digital art. I still couldn't draw... but I had enough balls to try drawing people, more than I'd do now. haha Nar still had red eyes and looked more like a classic dragon. His personally fleshed out a bit more to something manipulative and misunderstood... but he still lacked depth.

2009 - Nar kinda fell off the radar for many years. He existed but not beyond a few drawings. He also had a weird thing for socks? His character development plummeted and his design stayed the same.

2012 - Nar got a redesign. Ditching the red for yellow, Nar also lost his teenage brooding angst for a more suitable conniving coward and selfish asshole. Overall, he had an anthro-build, something I would grow to hate over time.

Present - 15 years of Nar and a new look. Nar became the animal he was always born to be. As his look and personality changed, he's now filled a roll in a story I've been scribbling for years. Nar aslo ditched the wings - because screw that - and lost the fur for feathers.

HGFUYHJHNIUHYGYTDTRAW!!!

Yes, that just came out of a (nearly) 28-year-old's keyboard. Sue me. I'm so freaking excited that you're back and Narakyan's back, too. Also... that second drawing is still on the wall above my monitor. Don't feel too badly about his development in 2005. Gilraen was sooo much worse. A third-age elf singing '00s emo songs? Seriously?

He'd probably never meet up with my new elfy, Elistriell, or my Guardians from my own world, Meneldea and Annros, but maybe someday. They'd probably end up lunch before they got the chance to patch any wounds, though. >.>

It's so cool to see the development over the years. I'm gonna hop on over to your new art now and shower it in long-awaited love.

Since my fictional world is what some call a kitchen sink realm that allows for all sorts of crossovers, I could totally see it happening. Damn, I'd love to have some worldbuilding talk with you, since it looks like you've been into it too!

I'm afraid Gil doesn't have a ref at the moment, and since my computer is toast I can't put one together for you.  I'm super excited about this surprise, though.
