This was a CD cover for the guy who set me up with spots in the art shows.His original idea was an evil cellphone.......
And I kind of took that into a semi-social statement.
Imagine the one immortal robotic billionaire who runs the world from his undisclosed location, plugged into everything.
I thought that was better than "evil cellphone"

I do wonder if cell phones (and certain kinds of technology as well) create more harm than good for us. I mean, think of it: we text each other with a cell rather than actually interacting with someone. Or some unfortunate driver is involved in an automobile accident because someone was distracted by talking on their cell, or someone's cell goes off and becomes a very irritating distraction during a presentation/meeting/movie/, and etc.
Great job on this: it somewhat has a graffiti-ish style to it but not quite. Delicious detail and I love how the whole 'monster within the phone' is just popping out -- and asking whether it can eat your face. :'D

Well funny thing about that is when they had that hulabaloo over cell phones causing brain tumors, everyone kind of bent over backwards to say they didn't and then a few years later the same news people admit that they do. After of course millions of people buy them and use them as their only phone.
I think technology does cause more harm then good when you have people selling it without scrupples.

i know huh! i wish i had your talent with inks. so far all i have been able to get back is my pencil skills.

eh, inkers are worthless these days.
you can scan a pencil drawing and just skip inking all together, and if you got a wacom, no pencil required either.

i do own a wacom but i still like scanning in my sketches. other wise i have a tendancey to lose concept on empty space.

yeah? I really am starting to hate the computer, the mouse is archaic compared to wacoms, and scanning just leads to a whole other list of shit you gotta do, like color correct, brightness/contrast, and cleaning up the scan itself........................blah
