I think its easier to turn them into the predictable rod, shuriken and shield so I went for something different and um... harder

i'm trying to keep them unique and different because i think that's what make it fun to draw but now i feel like i've already exhausted my ideas, they're all just swords and daggers now lol OTL

Then take a break. It's always good to step back from a project for a bit. 
Weapons tend to be repetitive, in reality there aren't so many differing weapon types as there are variations of the same concept. So don't feel discouraged if all you're thinking of are pigstickers lol, there are over 100+ documented types of swords alone.

I'd personally love to see you throw in some defensive items (armor, helmet, shield, etc) when appropriate. Just an idea. Either way, I enjoy what you do and hopefully this "pep talk" wasn't too obnoxious.

Yeah, I was thinking of actually making Chesnaught into a shield since Goofy uses a shield as a weapon on KH, but I was thinking that people might go "a shield is not a weapon hurr" so then should I be calling them Itemons then? haha
Yeah, maybe someday, we'll see.
