About my photograph, which you responded to very quickly... do you think the baby is not visible enough? I am concerned that people may not be able to see it upon glance. or should I leave it as is, and allow the viewer to reveal the child to his/herself?

Looking preety good. Just watch some of your proportions and anatomy. The chest as a whole is a bit too wide. The chest cavity shouldn't be larger than the hips. There are a few minor anatomy problems like the fingers bending at an odd angle, but other than that it's ok drawing wise.
The color looks nice, though the darkest tones of the vest should probably be right under the breast.

yeah.. it wasnt the chest as much as just her back sticking too far out.. the hand is fine as hands naturally allow the fingers to bend that way.. i've already updated the pic with the fixes

Well, nice color choice for starters. I love her hair, very realistic. She seems to be a bit top heavy, very wide in through her rib cage and *ehem* well indowed. Her right leg (unless she is really skinny) should be a bit further over so that her left leg actually looks like it is overlapping. The legs work if you want her to appear skinny, but then she wouldn't have enough fat reserves for her... chest. Must say that I love the scarf and the background is exceptional. Nice piece.

Wow, it looks really good! great pose, colouring, colours! I just think, the way you shaded her clothes.... it almost makes them look like they're made of plastic or something, you know? Maybe not enough creases or something. Anyway, love the hair! Great work!
