I commend you for doing this is Adobe Illustrator, however for drawing and painting you might find that Photoshop or Gimp (which is free) would be better suited for drawing and painting.
I will do a critique but I am going to mail it to you instead of posting it.

Thank you! This one took me several days, each day spending a few hours working on it. The glitter effect was the hardest part because it took me forever XD!
