it's from "skulduggery pleasant" which are some REALLY EXCELLENT BOOKS. it's technically a kids' series but it's a kids' series with a lot of bloody violence and magic and humor, so if you're into that i'd definitely give em a go.
haha the tattooed lady is china sorrows and she is basically a queen
