The next page of Cross Your Heart, my Pokémon X Gijinka Nuzlocke is out! FINALLY!On this page, Arnold, Clarice and their newest friend Nicola make it out of Santalune forest and into Santalune City, where they decide to stay for the night!
Notes:
In this universe, Pokémon Centers have hotel-like wards where you can sleep. This is where Arnold, Clarice and Nicola are later in the page.
Antidotes, Potions, Paralyze Heals and the like are still prevalent healing items in this universe.
Also in this universe, the Roselia statue in Santalune City is a statue of a Shiny Roselia gijinka named Persephone, who was a renowned battler. Dubbed "the Blossoming Champion of Santalune", after her death the townspeople erected a fountain with a statue of her in her honor, which has been there for 95 years. (Sorry for the unnecessary worldbuilding, it was just a cool idea that I had! )
I tried to get this one done before the end of March and I succeeded!
I really liked painting Santalune City and experimenting with the lighting as well, but all the coloring was pretty rough!
This one took FOREVER to complete, but i'm happy with the final result! I had a lot of fun drawing all the cameos as well. I hope you enjoy it!

THERE THEY ARE!!! AHH, THANK YOU! I'll be honest, I forgot I had offered them, I don't think they've ever been cameo'd before. ;w; They look wonderful.
But really, this whole page looks great. All the detail put into the establishing shots of the city are sooooo pretty. I fell in love with the fountain. Not to mention, the colors on this are nice. With all that is going on color-wise in a city compared to a forest, I don't feel overwhelmed at all. And the color change for the lighting looks very nice.
