I did it! I did it!Though this cross is mostly Edward (it's just L's face and hair), I thought L would still make a GREAT Edward Scissorhands.
zomg, I am so pumped about this.
As refs, I paused the DVD and used a sketch done by Tim Burton. The L, respectively, is from chapter 2 of Death Note. L-D's outfit is tweaked a bit, it is pretty hard to figure out how to do it, sorry for some incorrectness there
Sketched and colored in OC 1.1, then brought to photoshop 7 to finish the buttons, bg, lettering, and line work fx around L-Dward (which was done with the paintbucket filling in bits of line that weren't white

Ha, now that you point it out, they DO look a lot alike... I've never seen Edward Scissorhands though, so I can't comment on personality... What a cute smirk. I like the paperdolls in the background.

Ah, Ed was brought in for show and tell, and he cuts a HUGE string of paper people out of red paper. I stuck it in here not just for visualness, I was actually thinking about making each person a char from Death Note, but I didn't feel up to it; it was 3:30AM T 3T
