It’s been a few years since I drew Penelope’s Sonic Version. Sonic Forces also came out today. If I end up getting it, I’ll likely end up making her.

So, info about her:

Penelope the Rabbit
Age: 19 years old
Alignment: Neutral (with a lean towards good)
Occupation: Researcher
Penelope (also known as Sonic Penelope in reference to the world she’s from) is a researcher who mostly looks into the Chaos Emeralds and other mysterious occurrences in the world. Unfortunately, her research has caused her to get involved with Sonic and his friends and their ever-going conflicts with Dr. Eggman. It makes her wonder why she even bothers sometimes as it happens a lot and is just forced to deal with it. She’s gotten skilled at adapting to other climates due to how the Chaos Emeralds randomize their locations every single time after they’re collected.

Penelope used to be an optimist when she was younger, but it’s shifted into a more pessimistic nature when faced with what she has to deal with. It’s difficult for her to get along with Sonic and his friends and act kindly to them. She’s tried many times, only to find herself caught in dialogue and getting tired of hearing their voices for long periods, especially when she finds patterns in their speech.

Penelope primarily focuses on knowledge and the gaining and learning of it, and is willing to share it—especially in vital times. From the conflict she’s been caught up in, she tends to make snarky and snide remarks with her commentaries upon it. She’s also well-aware of the existence of the 4th wall and simply tolerates her existence in the world. She tries to do what’s best, though it’s ended up backfiring, like when she tries to take the Chaos Emeralds for research purposes but also to try and ease the conflict between Sonic and friends and Dr. Eggman. It usually makes everything worse.
