Comic commission by Riza23 This is an adaption of a vignette/backstory from the in progress Digimon Tamers story I've been working on sporadically for over 10 years with PumpkinaChai I wrote this mid-story myself and scripted it for Riza to work with, which I then colored.

First actual face to face! A bit close for comfort though.

Also as for why BWG/Noir is flinching over a Champion's attack: Guy is running on empty with previous wounds, after so many waves your HP eventually goes down and you're bleeding MP/stamina (play Pokemon or the Digimon games, you know this), plus all "Gray" digimon have a bit of a strength boost unlike usual Digimon. It pays to be unnatural and fresh to a fight!
