Description
This is Amani she is a 14 year old Gray Wolf at the Syr. NY Zoo. I think out of all the animals at the zoo she is my favorite, to me she is so beautiful. Taken on 12-29-11Update: I just found out that yesterday 2-10-12 Amani passed away due to age related issues. She will be greatly missed.

Thank you for the critique, I would of like to of had some of the withered plants out of the way myself, but you never get a chance to tell wild animals how to stand. You get luck if they stay still for a few seconds. I myself love this picture as it is the last time I ever saw Amani, she died a few weeks after I took this shot. I loved her she was so beautiful.

So was I, the zoo don't quite seem right with out her there. I too take picture of plants, flowers and even the sky and moon.

(This is my first Critique so forgive me. >.<)
I simply love wolves so I loved seeing this picture in my messages.
I can tell you were at a basic close distance which is great because normally you can tell when the photographer just used zoom, the fact you were brave enough to get closer and cautious means you were really were passionate about getting the picture.
I love that the wolf is a pale whitish cream,giving it a pure and beauty about the creature. Also the light seems to be coming by the right which is great because it looks like the wolf is going to go that way. But finally, I just adore the fact I can see he/she's looking back and looking directly into the eye of camera.
This whole photo says to me; "Well? Are you coming? Follow me." <3

Thank you so very. I do want to let you know I was safe and on the other side of the fence from the wolf. She was in a spot where I didn't have any fence in the way of the shot and was only about 30 feet from me.
