Amazing picture. The first thing that caught my eye was how the hands seem to come out of no where. Also the shadows on the right hand is a nice touch. The face in the background is really expressive. Great positioning and great shot.

i think what i like most about this would be the expression on your face. the hands add to me liking it, but its all about the face. I dunno. I am weird. the black and white works so well with this one. awesome photo.

At first i was like what? Then I scrolled down and saw the hands then the expression and the hands, the lighting and position of them Brilliant. This is a very good photo and i have not seen very many like this at all. Yours is deffinitely the best though!

I really love the uniqueness you have in your shots. I also love how this particular pic seems to grap me and pull me in...kinda like a vampire's seductive look.

I have to say ..."WOW".
I like everything about this picture.
The thing that strikes the viewer at first are those wonderful hands,
but then my eyes went to the back, to see his beautiful face;
and such a gorgeous one it is too!
His expression, is yet again is a very calm one, it goes surprisingly well
with the brightness of the hands, and the *extremity* of his hands;
almost as if he's willing the person to reach out and touch him.

awesome, awesome shot. Self-portrait photography can be insanely difficult...especially when it comes to the composition, which is damn near perfect in this. Wonderful use of foreshortening.

My sole complaint is that I wish could see more of the shirt, like on the end of the sleeve. There is such great, beefy texture there, and it all gets lost in a sea of black. I think in a really successul b&w photograph, there should be a wide range of tonal changes, to the point where it looks " colorful". That hand on the right is the closest you get to varied tone, which makes me like it best. All parts of an image that are same color and tone, get read by the eye as if they are on the same plane, so the large amount of black flattens out the entire image. If that is your intention, that it something else entirely, but I don't find that it works all that well here.
