Okie doke. My first official sketch of these two...and the first time (actually the second, but that doesn't count
) I've truly drawn Robin. Not too shabby if I say so myself. Lots of room for improvement...and hopefully I'll fix it up before I get this inked and colored.I swear, I love these two together...
It's about time that I've drawn something.
I'll probably have more to say once this is colored...in the meantime, enjoy, and tell me what you think.

Okay scratch that. I like this much better as a sketch, seeing as the colored version doesn't look very good at all. I'll skip that step altogether, even though I've inked it, so...this is it. Sorry all.

I was all too worried about not being able to pull this off, because the idea in my mind was so vivid... I think I could've done better, but I still liked the end result. I had sucessfully drawn Robin and Raven together in one picture, despite my lack of experience with them and the pose, and it delights me to no end to hear you give me those compliments.
I have a long way to go, so hopefully I won't disappoint!

Goodness, writing is a serious offender for me... I mean, just take a look at what I posted. I'd really love to hear your opinion on it. ...It may take a week, it may take a few days...sooner or later I'll find a mistake and that'll nearly ruin it for me (or at least make me want to seriously "fix" it).
...But hear hear! I know exactly what you're talking about...

I'm getting around to it...since now is the holiday season, I hope I get that extra needed boost of inspiration. I hopefully won't screw it up, but I do plan on changing it up a little. ...Maybe add some effects, etc. In other words, I'll blatantly abuse the properties of Photoshop for my own amusement.

You know, I'm not regretting the English homeowkr I'm neglecting that's due tomorrow. Because this is AWESOME.
I'm totally digging Robin's hair. I like your soft, feathery strokes. Creates a very delicate feel. Gah, you even draw noses well! And there's asomewhat shading, which is /very/ nice. And I love Raven and Robin's expression. Seriously. Amazing.

Meh. I'm trying to write my essay right now, and failing. I really want to draw some more... I actually have quite a few ideas for some more RxR art...I'll get right to it after my writer's block wears off. ...And then I'll try and finish this one too. It's rather close to my heart because I don't do very many pictures with characters actually interacting.
...And need I mention my inability to draw men properly again?
