Description
I didn't like the way Kitchen Brigade was going both art-wise and story-wise, so I tore everything down to the ground and am starting again from scratch. This new, still unnamed project is now centered around Scarlet (who was always my favorite character anyways) and takes place in a futuristic Asian metropolis. The restaurant aspect still exists, although it's greatly reduced and is no longer the focus of the story. These are my first few pieces of rough concept art; sorry for the puke-inducing neon colors;; x_xRelated content

In a day, there's not only the time of sunlight, the night is not only there for sleep.
"Carpe diem" includes all, no distinction. The night can also give you much, to see another side of you....
Why not include all weather, reflections of our moods? If in need, let your heart wash out the pain,
for this is not a loss, but there's a lot to gain.

I'm not familiar with any of your Kitchen Brigade work, but I like this character already! Especially with her expression in the fourth panel/picture, it's rather mysterious.

Ooh cool little mini-scenes you set up here. I think they set the new tone of the "refurbished" story nicely. Especially them city lights and speedy blurred motion light against the blackness of the night :V

Personally I love the colours! They're bright and work well together without being over powering
