Blah. decided to go ahead and re-upload this.it still looks really bad though so pay no mind to it's awesome flaws of doom!
time spent - roughly five or six hours. Most of it was the watercolors though.
water colored background, 'shadow' done on paper, scanned, colored black, printed, cut out, glued to water color base.
not under fan art `cause you really can't tell who it is.

I love it, I seriosly said "wow" when I saw it. I bet if you saw a person standing like that during sunrise it would look just like that. although you'd have to live in anime land to see someone with winges.

I saw this on lj :] The blending of the colors in the background is beautiful! The silhouette is great too, the white highlights you've added to it are neat and make it much more interesting as opposed to being a solid black shape.

Though the background bothers me slightly -- the way the colors mutated when it was scanned make it look like ketchup and mustard. ;;
