My quickie attempt at the Asari race from the new game ' Mass Effect': [link]Technically the race has only one gender, but they appear to be female (even seem to have breasts).

Asari ARE female, all of them are, but they can mate with any other gender or species.

Not to get too technical, but I guess that means they can accept the sperm of the male of any race, or either produce their own sperm to inseminate the egg of a female mate, or take an egg from a female mate and combine it with one of their own to produce an offspring (which, if I remember my biology, would always be female).
Not for any of the above, but DAMN I want to play that game (time to 'borrow' a XBox 360 then

XD Actually I don't think sperm actually does anything to them. They have the right socket, but the wiring is missing, if you catch my drift. Game's codex says that they actually reproduce with pheromones or something.

"Mass Effect" is one of MicroSoft's heavy-hitter titles for the Holiday Season of 2007, since "Halo 3" is already out.
Nice likeness to one of the alien races in the game. A bit more sexy here, of course.......(^_-)

Oh, I haven't played it yet, and that's the problem.
I REALLY want to, but I don't own a XBox 360, which probably means I'll have to wait a year for them to make a PC version (or buy it and indefinately 'borrow' a friends 360).
I really liked 'Knights of the Old Republic' (the only other game by Bioware that I have played), so this one should be just as good.
