I always love getting these kinds of commissions at Cons 'cause I don't have to sweat making a hero look handsome, or a girl look sexy etc etc... and Marv, for all intents and purposes IS a Monster... he's like... Frankenstein's slightly more handsome cousin or something!The original piece was done on gray paper with Microns, brush and copic grey markers... the rain and highlights were whiteout pen, and a white prismacolor pencil .... I couldn't resist tweaking it a bit in Photoshop and adding a bit of blood and slight glow to the rain!

ah,so thats what he looks like in the comic and talking about ugly,really he looks more of a gladiator in sense.But he's one of my favorite characters-Marv.Pretty much as you said he is a monster and like a frankenstein but more better looking.haha but anyways he is badass and love his story.Still trying to figure out how he goes underwater with a lit cigarette,must be waterproof if one such exists.ANyways love the style,its just epic.
