"Damnit" Hikaru cursed out loud. "Who's idea was it to walk to school today?" Although he knew the answer, he wanted to make the culprit feel even more guilty. That's just the way he was.
"Sorry! Sorry!" The more calm twin, Kaoru apologized to his easily pissed off brother. "The weather man said it was supposed to be sunny today, and so I thought we could just get some exercise."
"Those damned weather men are always wrong. It's a good thing we brought umbrellas just incase. Why don't you go use that pay phone over there and call our chauffeur." Hikaru gave his little brother 50 yen and Kaoru walked over to the pay phone. The red head sighed and looked at his surroundings, because clearly, they were lost in a commoner's area. Then he noticed a girl standing in front of an apartment complex with her head down and no umbrella. He decided to walk over to her to see if everything was all right. As he drew closer he noticed she was shaking, probably from the cold. Then a crashing sound. Thunder.
"Nn!" The girl jumped a bit, putting her head in her hands. Hikaru realized she was crying. Although, he usually wouldn't care, for some reason, he felt the need to comfort her, even if just a little. The boy moved his umbrella over just enough to cover his and the girl's head. When the girl noticed the rain wasn't falling on her head anymore, she looked up to see what was going on. She and Hikaru stared at each other a bit then looked away. 'Gosh, she's awfully cute...' He thought, blushing slightly '...for a commoner girl...'.
Kaoru got off the phone and looked over, to see his brother standing with some girl. He smiled to himself and figured that he probably shouldn't say anything about it as to not embarassed and anger Hikaru.
"Hikaru! The chauffer is going to be here in a few minutes!" Kaoru called over. "He said to walk back a bit out of the complex area!" Hikaru blushed even more and turned to the girl.
"Sorry, I have to go...uh...here." He held out his umbrella to the girl. "You can...keep that, if you want..." The girl took it. Hikaru then started to walk back to Kaoru.
"Thank you very much." The girl said smiling up at him. Hikaru smiled back.
"No problem." And made his way back to his brother.
