Description I love Wonder Woman. Beautiful, strong, proud, a complex character of femininity. I felt I needed an update, because I had become dissatisfied with my old wonder woman picture so I made a new one.

technical: 3+ hours corel painter, photoshop touchup.
I tried a new technique of starting with the skull and working my way up, since for some reason my traditional under sketch wasn't producing good images for me. Also laid down black and white, before adding color.

Omg side note:

I CAN'T BELIEVE I SAVED THE ORIGINAL FILE AS flattened
72 DPI!!!
I can't print this :C.

Plus I know that many places feel unfinished, but with the file like this I am gonna have to tackle that challenge in the morning.

Cool face! She looks kinda Asian to me, though. Not to say it is a bad thing, but she looks... Japanese.

So it isn't possible to raise the resolution? Or is it once you set its done? So is Wonder Woman one of your favorite D.C superheroes? I like how you then made it into your icon and added the monocle.
I wish you best of luck in getting the problem resolved. I enjoy the coloring that you did on it. Once again good luck on reresing it so one day it could be printed the way it was meant to be.^^

Its kind of like trying to take a printed comic strip and expanding it to 6 times its size. At that size you can see all the dots and halftones that make up the images. The computer does fill in the gaps between dots, but it guesses at the color so it comes out blurry and muddy. I am going to resize it and draw the details that are lost when I have the time .

Harley Quinn and Wonder Woman are a tie. I also love the Batman and the Flash. How about you Sal?

You're a drawing/coloring machine!

I have a separate folder for my flattened stuff and my original layered full rez stuff.

Could that halp?

The front part of the nose looks flat instead of round, cuz you know how the base of the nose is usually round. I mean it doesn't have to be but it looks flat, like table flat... O_o EMBRACE MY CRITIQUES!

If you add a little highlight I think it'll stop bothering me.

Now that I'm looking at it, it seems to be one thar. It's probably because I'm looking at it from the web. Web colors never look as good.

Oh man, I just had hummus and it's coming up. Ewwww.

What we need to do is start doing snapshots so I don't have multiple files, but can jump back when I need to. It's pretty cool, you create a snapshot in the history channel and it'll save that point in time.

It does need to be more defined on the nose, ear, and neck. But with it 72dpi, its hard to get jazzed about finished. Might almost start over, or something .

hehe your favorite femme^^ Ugh I've done that before I usually lower the DPI before I save it for JPG. I hope you save multiple copies as you progress in a painting. Well, other than this situation anyway

Generally I do have a lot of copies, but since this was progressing pretty much the way I wanted I didn't find the need to. Until now

Dude! It sucks that you didn't notice the resolution! Ah well, it's happened to me a couple of times too hehe. Nice work as usual. Yeah I see what you mean about the unfinished parts. Good luck with it, I really hope you can figure the whole resolution thing out, this would make a pretty good print.

Thanks man, horrible habit really. One hand on tablet, other on apple+s. Everytime I do one little thing I save ><. You'd think I would learn.

I might redraw it someday, or try to paint on top to finish it. But yeah, tomorrow .
