It feels like this is Wolverine's subconscious, kinda. *dusts psychoanalytical glasses* The old, tired man that goes forth, claws outstretched, and the noble berserker rooted into him, ready to sever skulls (his own?) with extreme prejudice.

This is also a really cool sketch! I love the pseudo brush strokes that you used to accent the inks. Sick stuff <3

What do you mean by pseudo brushstrokes? The shadings are all done with a (flat) brush.
