"The tree propagates by planting seeds in its victims. The process is often slow, taking a day or more. The victim is then released to stagger away. The seeds cause the body’s temperature to spike after 12 hours and the victim begins to seek out water to cool itself. As the victim enters or drinks water, the seeds erupt and kill the man or animal. It generally falls in or near the water where the sarcillian saplings then take root and consume the rest of the flesh."

that's cool, i try and do things like that, examine someones choice of colour and how they did it and do it on another pic, helps me get my head around some of the techniques

Yep, excellent way to learn, and there may be times where you are asked to match styles to help out another colorist for a job.

A tablet will really help, once you get used to it. The new Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch tablets that just came out are rally nice and not too expensive.

yeah i am planning on getting a bamboo, i heard that they were pretty good for the price, been reading up on the best tablet to get for starting out, would love that one where you draw on the screen but it's a little blue for pretty much everyones blood lol

Yea I have the small 12" cintiq but I would really like to get the 21" one, but the $2 grand is kinda steep right now

wow 2grand that is so steep, i'd love one too, i just bought a tattooing kit the other day, for a long time it has been a split choice between do i buy a tattoo kit first or a tablet, i got the kit because think that will get me money quicker, i've had a couple of colouring commissions before but nothing substantial, just $10, so hopefully if i get good at tattooing pretty quick i can have a tablet early next year
