Description Theres always something nasty on the side of the moon we never see... weather it be a lost autobot ark, a Nazi Moonbase or the land of the Clangers.

Doctor who is no exception and here we see the Cyber invasion force emerging from the shadows ready to strike at earth. Back when the Cybermen where cold, calculating devious and way more creepy as a result.

I spent a bit of time trying to emulate the scene from the Patrick Troughton story "The Invasion" by not using any colors and making everything fairly cloudy, kind of like it was shot on film. I also spent some time trying to get the ships right but as a result they're a clash between the ones from the episode and the version seen in "The Pandorica opens" and "A good man goes to War"

Made with Vue 9, respect, love, high 5s and Photoshop.

Cyberman ships are awesome, there needs to be more art of them.
Nice work!

I love this picture, I've been using it to build a couple of model cyberships, they're not as accurate as your picture because I just used bits I had lying around the place but I thought I should thank you for your help.

Thanks.

No problem, give me a shout if you want a brighter version.

I had to take a few liberties myself I must confess but i'm fairly sure the mothership is near the mark from the episode.

Oooh, this is good! You've made a really good job here . But I don't get here, did you use a 3D-program to make this?

Vue 10? Oh nice. I didn't knew that program, it's making quite good works... 1,495$ ??? *Sigh, I'll just keep messing with blender then.

intersting... I'll think about that, thanks ! Is it kind of easy to use? I mean, easier then blender *_*. Also, is it good for making characters since there's only landscapes in the advertisement.

Blender melts my head so I guess so.

It can exchange files with photoshop and daz studio.

Fantastic.
Especially the detail to that you've paid to get the cloudy film-look.
