We all have them
And for the record, this has to be my favorite piece of work that I have posted here~
The "Bird-Leaves" are a major character role in my upcoming attempt at a novel.They are the most special of all the creatures in this other plane of being in the story. As they fly, they make a sound that cant be described in our mortal terms..But this sound is one of only two sounds to be heard in the vastness of this most coveted of galaxies, the song of the Bird-Leaves will bring a tear to your eye with every vibration of such beautiful galactic sound they produce.

Wow! I love the golden crispiness
The sky has nice contrast with the ground. The tree and the arches are mostly black (at least the most black objects on the picture). And the background is mostly gold, and the middle layer is a rough combination of both. So it kind of dithers the two outer layers visually. But there is still contrast between the outer layers because they are both toward the top of the image, while the middle layer is toward the bottom.
I like the balance. I like how the second arch is leaning on the first arch. If it were the other way then it wouldn't really reflect that it is off to the left. The tree facing outward but with the leaves flowing to the left is interesting. I like how they go between the arches.
I somehow wish the top half and the bottom half overlapped more, other than the color.

Thank you,,,this is one of my favorite pieces. The one I had for my first gallery opening was in a 24x40 print and looked much more crisp than the render I have posted here. The leaves are not leaves as you normally think, they are the "BirdLeaves" that inhabit the trees in my spherical world. The Birdleaves sing songs of such beauty that it cant help but bring a tear to your eye whenever heard.(in my book) So that is the Birdleaves story. And as far as my compositions go,they will never fit into normal artistic forum..I do not want them to, I want to be different from the masses in my perceptions,,I have help from both Lovecraft and Salvador Dali

I think I'm going to steal your art and plant one of your bird trees in my back yard. Then I'm going to sit under the tree with a plate of cookies, eat an apple, and wait to see what kind of punishment you will dish out after you hunt me down like the dirty rotten scoundrel and art thief that I am! OOOOOOOOOOoooooooooohhhhh you sound so scary. At least you made me smile, and that is not easy these days. Thank you for giving me something to smile about.

I spent the night before last crying all night off and on sleeping, and then woke up crying. I still can't put anything up that I'm working on until after the show. I miss posting every day, and talking to you and getting feedback on the art. The stealing art thing is so real, and so much a part of this world. I can't afford to show the canvases before the convention show and then have my designs stolen. It makes me smile because I guess I felt like being hunted down by you, and being given a very stern lecture about thievery. You happily amuse me even when I'm quiet. I have finished this morning the 51st canvas, and I still have many more to paint. I wish I was making cookies, but I will get around to it soon. I miss you very much, and miss posting every day. Thieves should be hunted down like the rotten people they are. Take good care my dear friend. Know I share your grief and know you are loved.

All of the water has been removed thousands of years ago when this became a war zone and all was lost, save these structures that to this day still sing the songs of the one eyed siren that softly cries her tunes of the lost forever on the winds of Calobos Prime..
