Aight so this is a spare time drawing for me, i have been pencilling another project of mine, and playing this dope ass game at the same time, and i gotta say that this game took me back to my GRAF days, and so i had to do a HOMAGE to it. The game is called Getting Up, and its for PS2, and if you were ever a writer at one point in your life you should be playing this game.I had a hard time trying to not shade this one, i did for the purpose of my boy and probably coloring it so i was trying to go back into my NON SHADING stage, but it was pretty tough.
This one took about 3 hours, it was done on tradition BLUELINE comic boards, so its pretty large, hope y'all likes. PEACE

Yo, I thought I met you! I was lookin at your devId and was trying to remember. I can't remember if Koi introduced us or Cheeks...I think it may have been Cheeks. I think I remember him saying you were a dope-ass artist, and I was like 'Cool', but I didnt know who you were. Wait, now I'm pretty sure I remember you and your brother coming by the Aspen booth! Okay. Maybe that was just it. I meet so many people at all the cons that I'm embarrassed to say I can't remember half their names. I'm much better once I see the art, then I can more easily tie it to the face/name(if I'm lucky). I suck at names. Even when I meet you at the next show I'll probably be like "Kweli!" haha. jk. He is one of my fave MC's though.

Yeah im sure we have met on like 3 or 4 different ocassions. And me and Sean are good friends so im sure he did introduce up, lol. Im the same way man, i need to have as many REFRENCES for people as possible in order for me to have the best chance at remembering them, lol. I practice name remembering though man, my wife forces me to sometimes, lol. Dood, now im excited cause my wife and i are going to be moving out to San Diego, and one of my goals was to establish friendships with various artists' in the Cali area, so im happy. Plus Sean (Cheeks) and i were planning on getting a studio for artists to be able to come to and GRIND it out together at in the Dwontown San Diego area, i know its probably a distance from you, but, whenever you get the chance man.....once we have it that is, lol. Either way yo, it'll be cool to meet up and at least know more about each other, lol. And yes Kweli, is a MONSTER!
