Decided to draw a piece of one of my childhood anime's that I watched while growing up!
Dawn and Umbreon from Pokemon My favourite pokemon and character! I realize Dawn doesn't have Umbreon so I was going for a scenario where a pokeball was found by Dawn and to her surprise, Umbreon came out of it..! XD

And let me guess Pokemon was the animated show that inspire you to draw (or at least maybe one of the shows that did). Anyway the impact of this picture I am getting is a sense of wonderment as Hikari looks surprise to discover a blacky that was inside the monster ball she found. The way the light affects are display add to this wonderment as the blacky appears to have made a grand appearance and is perhaps gracefully moving on the light. As for technique you did good job in showing her expression (as well your design of her) as well as the affects that show blacky making its appearance out of the ball. The soft mixture of warm and cool colors coming out of the monster ball and wrapping itself around Hikari is amazing and it makes this picture look pretty.

By work harder you mean to improve on your last picture? Well I understand. You must be one of those artist who like to improve on their last picture.
