Ryo's Ken: best friend and rival with a rich family. But unlike Ken, he actually shows off his wealth. He is the only Kyokugen practitioner that does not wear the gi uniform. (If he did, he would look like exactly like Capcom's bastardization of him, Dan) His personality: strong, cocky, caring, and good friend. Despite his wealth, he usually hangs out and trains with the poor Sakazakis. He also has a crush on Yuri. But the relationship with her doesn't go far, due to Takuma and Ryo over-protecting her out of habit or thinking that Robert may take her for granted. But the relationship is rarely seen in the ring. Without doing some research, you would never guess the two are a couple. The only time it's been hinted at is in KOF 2003, where Robert would toss a bouquet of flowers to Yuri as they prepare to fight. In AOF3, there is talk of setting off to their honeymoon in the ending. Still, quite the unusual couple. Robert also tends to have a habit of switching his fighting style very often in the KOF games. Keeping him a fresh design with every game. Oh, and here's a fun fact for you: Whenever Robert is K.O'd, he actually utters "MotherF*cker!". Heh, who knew Robert had such vocabulary.
