OMG!!!! I think (other than the fact that i'm a wolf and not a fox) you have just captured me from last summer.... That's EXACTLY how I do a cannonball.... O.o

Colored pencil is an amazing tool in the hands of a great artist. I used to think that it was a child's medium until works by an artist that looked liked photographs. I have learned that they can do so much!
You apparently have practiced long and hard over what I can imagine as years to achieve this talent/ability. I have planned to start studying this medium very intensely myself but have not gotten to it yet.
With so many digital artists out here on DA, you have no idea how it makes me feel to see non-digital work like these, and with colored pencils no less!
Not too many people have dedicated time to this medium, so when it is used, the effect on others can be priceless.
I am not a wise and skilled artist, just a humble college artist still, so please don't think I find myself on an altar to critique others. Your work is just SOO COOL!!!![link]

Since this has been asked twice, I should probably offer up an explanation. The discrepancy in clothing wasn’t intentional, at least in the sense of it being a meaningful omission with respect to what is going on in the picture. All things being equal, I probably would have had both characters naked since wearing a bathing suite while covered in fur seems a bit silly. However, given the angle of view, I felt I should give the guy some pants. Even without being visually explicit (anatomically speaking), an ass shot is not exactly a view I want to look at or illustrate (at least from that angle anyway)

This rich and vivid coloring pencil drawing just drags you in to the moment. With it's dynamic perspective and amazing anatomy, not to mention all the details captured, you just can't help but love it =^_^=
