my first ever digital piece! it was harder than i thought and i wanted to experiment a bit.i decided to draw percy first.

im super interested in digital art but i have no clue what software or tablet i should use???

you can always start with SAI. it's pretty basic even for a beginner. as for the tablet, you can get any decent one in stores near you. but if you ask most people, they would suggest wacom. it's very easy to use and durable. but any other tablet is alright as long as it works fine with you

thanks so much for the advice but unfortunately i have an apple and the SAI doesn't work.... but the tablet looks super awesome I'm hoping to get one for my birthday!

Omg it looks amazing! It must be hard doing digital, I never tried it but from what I heard it isn't easy. Still, congrats and great job!

thank you! and yes it's pretty tricky. you will learn how to appreciate drawing traditional when you start doing digital. but so far, it's a nice experience.

This looks awesome! Congrats on going digital! If you have any questions about your tablet, programs, etc, I'd be more than happy to answer them (although, to be honest, I'm not very experienced in the digital realm of art

Yeah! I just bought the full version (my one month free thingy ran out). I'm guessing you're using SAI too? How do you like it so far? Personally, I love the program. I got photoshop elements with my wacom tablet, but between the two SAI is waaaaay easier to use.

SAI is pretty easy. i love it. maybe i'll try my photoshop elements when i have mastered SAI.

Yeah! Either one is awesome. I find you can do more in photoshop (like more types of brushes). The only problem I find with photoshop, is that it is primarily designed for photo manipulation, where as SAI is made purely for digital drawing.
