I know A LOT of people do these sort of things but I really wanted to give it a shot for myself. The drawing I was working on came out awfully so I tore (spelling?) it to shreds and decided to mess around with the camera
I wanted to make the black piece all blurry and all but I didn't know how

I also like how it's a group of the "white" pawns and just a single "black" one. That makes it even more meaningful.

First of all, I very much want to apologize for the fact that do not speak English. I hope that my mistakes will not distort the impression of a review.
So, I really liked the idea. The difference of black and white chess pieces dramatically. Generally, people often prefer to play for a bright figure. Their huge mass just crushes those who fall to be the fate of.
This picture makes us think that the black figures also exist, and can not be ignored just because of the color of their affiliation. The general mood sad and overwhelming. It is true that the image quality is a bit weak, but it does not spoil the experience.

Open more the aperture to have blur on non focused objects, this is called deph of field, take your camera in aperture piority and get the lower f value!
Oh also, invert the pieces, this is way too conventional, (don't forget racism against white!).
