Hopefully this is what my avatar at Gaia will look like if I ever get enough money. I'd like to come up with a little story for her, but I can't think right now! -__- *meltdown*---This was colored with markers!

Hmm.. the legs really have drawn me to this image. No... stop looking at me like that, I mean it in an artistic sense
I like the style... her so small hip kinda goes against the natural over-beauty that most drawn females tend to broadcast, but that alone is reason enough to love this image... she's overly cute without being sexy at all.. she just looks young and energetic ^^ (well, I suppose the clothes do say the opposite, but I am talking about shapes here, stay with me! >.< )
The shading is pretty good... it was done with markers, so it does deserve praising for looking this pretty. The only thing that doesn't strikes me as nicely are her shoes... there's something about the way that lace area gets thinner as it approaches the ankle... I can sense something ain't right there, but I can't quite pinpoint out what... ah well.. shoes are a minor thing, aren't they? I could argue perhaps the red color... it's kinda bright for my tastes, but I am assuming ya didn't have much choice in the variety of reds from your marker collection? 
Anyway, very charming image, me loves it.. design, shape, pose, it's good art ^^

I'll take a look at the shoes; i've never been much of a foot drawer. (that and hands!)

What I think I love about the leg style, is that thieir width varies very little. Normally, most drawings in the anime-style would have legs that grow thick on the thighs, then thin around the knees, grow again on get thin again for the ankles, this gives the girl a very grown up and sexy look... while your style still has these 'width' changes, it's on a much lesser degree... which causes a really appealing feeling of youth and a refreshing break from the excess eye-candy you see around anime these days =3
