I hope this is in the right category. My first submission in a while. I'm sure some people thought I was dead.
This is a pillow that I made for a friends birthday. It's in the shape of Kyo Sohma's kitty head. This thing was completely hand stitched, eyes, mouth everything. A lot of finger pricking went into it. No sewing machine was used. It's made of super snuggly fleece. I'd love to hear some comments. Serious critiques are welcomed too. I have yet to learn how to complete the stitching without showing at least one ugly seamline.

They are made out of fleece and it keeps clean for the most part. I made a Tohru Rice Ball, which is also in my gallery somewhere, and she is probably the hardest to keep clean, mainly because she is white. When she gets dirty though I can always throw her in the washing machine and she is as good as new.

Oh wow that is so totally adorable! I do all of my sewing by hand, too (except, I make skirts and dresses hehe) so I totally feel your pain

Thank you very much. Yep, everything was handstitched. You can't really see the white thread but I sewed the reflections of the eyes with white thread. There's just one bad stitch and that's on the bottom. I had to sew him up somehow.

Thank you! If you full view the pic you can see my one bad seamline. It's on the bottom. I was kinda sad to see it go, but I can always make another one since I saved the pattern that I made. Right now I'm working on a Yuki for another friend. After that I intend to make a Riceball Tohru pillow with a little plum on the back of it. ^_^

That's a good idea. ^^ If you ever decide to sell them, post some online to sell, so maybe I'll buy a Kyo one. ^^ And that's also a good idea for him to not be mad. xD I have a lot of Kyo stuff, too, and it's true that most items all portray him as mad. xD I love the expression you gave him. ^^
