Absolutely stunning. Is he solid black or a black bi? We have so few Aussies out here that aren't tan+white marked, I love to see them. Also a lovely head on this boy. May I ask where you got your two handsome boys from?

I could mention that both dogs actually have mainly american working lines in their pedigree; Hangin' Tree, Pincie Creek, Las Rocosa, Windsor etc. Maybe you recognise some of those?

Yes, I know all of those. WOW, you are lucky to have Las Rocosa in your lines! They have some absolutely fabulous dogs. Pincie Creek is also pretty well known, they have some incredible ranch dogs. Hangin' Tree is a name I haven't heard for a long time; I don't think they are breeding anymore. That is truly awesome.

He has tiny white markings on toes and a little on his chest, OH and a white tail tip (it looks terribly funny) so he's really a black bi.

Both my aussies come from a friend and breeder here in Sweden, the kennel name is Black Zone's. Their english site can be found at [link]

A beautiful shot! Do you use any filters?

I used a multi coated circular polarizing filter wich didn't affect this particular image that was shot on a cloudy day, but it's almost always mounted on my camera objectives anyway.. my most useful filter.

Another beautiful dog!! He kind of reminds of of the dog (can't think of his name....) on the movie "Babe" the movie with the pig. The female dog he calls mom lol... Well if you know what I'm talking about, he reminds me of that dog!!

Yeah, I take a lot of photos of them and they - well the lighter one atleast - are very, what's it called, photogenic?
I am going to post some pictures of other peoples pets soon, haha.
