Omg this game. I finished it about a month ago and I can't stop thinking about it. The last two chapters really messed with my head. It was such a good game, but man... that was some heavy shit.

I kept Chloe alive and left everything in a disaster. I hate stories where they make it seem as any life is worth sacrificing to save a larger amount in this kind of scenario. I mean all throughout the game they kept wanting to kill Chloe off and I thought it was too much of the cliche thing to do.

Killing Chloe was the logical thing to do: the disasters happened only because Max kept delaying her death, it was creating a huge paradox. So even if you saved her at the end of the game, the disasters will continue on forever.

yeah the whole thing was totally bogus. especially all the gay baiting e -e (although i guess they do kiss in when you choose to off chloe?? which i think makes save arcadia ending even worse)Β
i do love the game though, its just both endings are really unsatisfying

yeah that just sounded like a horrible message to send even if they had zero intention of making it seem that way. "maybe theyre lesbians, lets completely destroy the pure love they have for each other regardless and kill off chloe!"
I wish these writers would come up with endings that are completely unexpected and as unique as can be. They still never explained how or why Max even got her powers. They just make Chloe the scapegoat for everything bad that happens. Its just lazy.

Yeah. If you were told that you had to kill your child to save your city, you would be a monster no matter what decision you made by some standard. It would have been nice if there were more endings though.Β
