the story of one being and his little friend. a story that we will all remember years from now, and this image it tells of the hero of that story. it shows the battles he has fought villains he has matched in combat. it shows what kind of hero he is, the hero that despite set backs, and defeats that he still runs to the light of hope.

Oh wow, this is incredible! I absolutely love the shading and smoothness of it all. My only problem with it (which is a problem I have with most Ratchet fanart) is that he's significantly taller and a bit more human-like than he is in-game.
But all in all HOLY WOW IT'S GOOD!

As for the proportions: Ah yes, I am guilty of this... I've already shrunk him down from the usual size I give him XD I like to draw him lanky and the like - it's a personal reference. Like this one here:
I like him more like this. He looks a bit more interesting in my personal opinion, but that is because I like drawing my favorites as pretty boys/girls.

Beautiful work as always! I am a little nervous about the movie and the re-imagining of the first game though.. Ratchet & Clank 1-3 lie close to my heart so I hope they don't mess it up too much

Personally, I care most about RAC1 and 3 from back then. I am really not too sure about the game's sudden use of tharpods? Aren't they a race situated in Polaris?

Beautifully done image ^_^ Absolutely gorgeous; I love how everyone else is colorfully outlined against the backdrop! Can't wait for the movie either! X3
Though, just to give you a heads up, with copyright laws the way they are, to the best of my knowledge I don't think this design can be legally sold, because of Ratchet and the others being on here and this not being a parody... If Sony or Insomniac ever found the page to buy this, they'd have grounds to issue a cease and desist, or worse. Just wanted to warn you.
