I apologize for the lack of art lately.
School hit me straight and I'm working on commissions. So... I NEEDED A BREAK FROM WORK!!! And what is better than a speedpaint with some fire and a wonderful firebender who lets the flames dance around him? It really relieves the soul, you don't know how much. <3
ANYWAY. This is Zuko from "Avatar - The Last Airbender" which was my first fandom ever - and you may guess who my favorite character was... XD
ANYWAY [the 2nd!]. Why is there a July, you ask? o: It's because I made it for a community project in a Forum I'm part of. [YES!!! The VERY FIRST FORUM I WAS A REAL PART OF! XD AND I'M STILL STICKING TO IT ~] Since there was no theme restriction [except it has to be Avatar, haha] I had a really good time letting my imagination roam. C< GOOD FOR MY SPIRIT!

Man, I wrote a great comment at school earlier ... sadly, my stupid iPhone didn't post it! D:< I was so mad!! Anyhow. I shall try to remember what was in that comment XD
Firstly, all the color is exciting! Your style is well-suited to it, so I'm glad I got to see some fire yellows and reds from you (some of my faves already!
Secondly, it's neat to see Zuko portrayed in this style ... I've never seen anything quite like it, which is always cool. Ah yes, and that bright yellow streak that lines the ground at his feet was a very good touch and organizes all that swirling fire quite well. I wonder if the lineart would look better if it was a bit more brown ... just a passing thought, though. Awesome, and very impressive to be a speedpaint as well!

And if I like something she doesn't, and I talk about it, she gets so annoyed that she automatically brands everything I like as superjunk. [Transformers is not... For the brains... XD More for... The fun. Or the games I'd like to have are "stupid and not worth the money so let's better buy DMC or FF which you're not allowed to play because it's my game." Physical battles are overrated. Verbal battles are by far the better ones. XP (Well, not all of us are as heavily into the fandom as you are, so you perhaps enjoy it more than most. XD Hmmm... Oddly enough, I have only played three of those series - perhaps I should try the other two. (That is a dangerous, dangerous thing to say around me, you know.
(Oddly enough, I don't believe I have ever encountered a waiter or waitress in town that has been either terrible or atrocious, let alone terribly atrocious. And if there are loud kids on the bus, I tend to toss on some headphones and drown them out with music. XP) And how's it working out for you?
