A semi-canon TLK character I've been meaning to draw for a while, Asante is Kopa's hyena friend from a German edition of the 6NA books, but I can't remember the name of the story. In my fanverse, she and Kopa run away together after she saves him from a murder attempt performed by Zira. The two mainly wander through different lands, never really establishing a new home due to other animals' views of their relationship- after all, hyenas and lions are suppose to be natural enemies.
I gave her freckles and tried to make her mane style as unique as possible to differentiate her from the other hyenas, as well as the rip in the one ear and the irises. While she was designed by me, I based her facial markings and color scheme off of those of a nameless hyena that appears in a piece of TLK pre-production artwork (when I find the image, I'll link to it so you can see what I'm referring to, the "movie colors" I made for her are slightly different but you'll get the gist of what she's going to look like when I color her). This is her adult design, I'll draw her pup design when the mood strikes me.
Anywho, hope you like it, I enjoyed drawing her even though the pose took forever to construct

It took a bit of digging around but I found the image, or rather images werebereus.deviantart.com/art/… < She'll be based on the pale blonde hyena with the purple-ish pink nose and reddish brown mane, the one near the very bottom of the image just above the sketches of one of Simba's working designs
