Really nice composition! My only criticism perhaps would be add a bit more contrast and/or brightness. I feel like the snow leopard gets lost a little bit into the background (if that makes sense). Or maybe it's my monitor? Either way, great shot

It's interesting you say that actually. The contrast is quite high in Lightroom, and it looks ok exposure wise on my screen, but my screen is a new uncalibrated Apple one, and they're known to be a bit ambitious on the contrast and saturation front. I'll print off a copy and see if I can get my screen to match it. Thanks for pointing it out - I keep wondering if it's mucking up my editing

Haha, it could just be the monitor then. That's always a worry when editing photos, everyone will see it slightly differently. It can be frustrating at times

Yeah.. It would be annoying if it was, especially seeing as I sell prints and make photobooks. I don't want them coming back poorly edited!

Eep! You may want to get that sorted then if marketing is involved. If the test print looks fine, then it shouldn't really matter how it looks on the monitor, right? In theory, at least.

Oh yea, I hadn't thought, that the printed version should look the same as the PC screen, or else how would you know how to edit it or how it will turn out? It would be like doing a task blindly. Hopefully you get it sorted out soon!

oohoooho one of those awesome pictures again how we know them from you! Awesome background behind an awesome subject with the awesome lens which just makes everything so sharp and awesome! And the awesome you pressing the right buttons at the right time. The lighting is awesome!
The "Natural Habitat" picture was awesome too, very natural looking but for some reason the snow at the bottom was really distracting. I did not want to say anything as I will never get close to the awesomeness of the picture hehe but yeah^^

Haha. Awesome subject is just because she's simply a stunning animal. The rest is that lens! It's just stupidly good. I love it so much! It seems impossible to take something that doesn't look nice, even if it's just a bokeh shot!

First off, this is a lovely pic of a very majestic animal! All I can think of though is the snow leopard being like " if the height of my enclosure wall is 15 feet, how fast do I have to be running to be able to jump over it?" She just has that look of trying to figure something out! LOL

They are incredible animals!! I just love them! Someday.. when I grow up I want to travel around the world and take lots of wildlife picures! I want to take a lot of pictures of wild cats like the snow leopard and be able to see on in person! That would be so cool!! ^^
