lol. I live on VI ("home of the newly wed and the nearly dead"). If the whole thing looked as good as that picture, people would stop complaining about wanting to move to Montreal, and if I spent more time on deviantart, I'd have developed a deviant sense, and known where you were so I could find you, and make a hat out of your skin.
I mean.... say hi.
My deviant sense is tingling. Well... something's tingling...
*coughs* Go... uh... Vikes..

Something's tingling? Check your underwear for silverfish.
I lived/worked on V.I. for seven months. In Tofino. You know Tofino? My real home is in Edmonton, Alberta, and that's where I'm sitting right now. That part of the Island was beautiful, but terribly, terribly wet, and eventually I resolved to either go home or sprout flippers. Plus, there were some hippies there who I am convinced were going to make a hat out of my skin.

I wouldn't be surprised. Islanders are big on skin-hats.
I never go to Tofino, Although I've been through it. I like to stay in Victoria, where all the stores sell umbrellas, and there are many homeless people from whom to make raincoats. Also, living here all my life as I have, I've developed adaptations much like Kevin Costner's in Waterworld.
So you live in Edmonton eh? *makes joke about mall*

By the by, how does one go through Tofino? It's on a peninsula. One can only go to it, and then leave again.

wow, you leave for a day, you leave for.... over a month. Strange "islander" behavior manifests.
I maintain that, if you are careful, you can go through it (islander magic) ("impossibilus travelium").
Also, as I recal, shortly after bantering about the humour inherint in Alberta, said province one-upped me by flodding itself and ruining people's lives or somesuch.
(this is all a clever ruse; I didn't reply for over a month because I don't really live on v.i.)
(that was a joke)
(or was it?) ("dubius jokeium")

why am I replying again? ohhh.... let's just say I'm outside your house right now. Or apartment. I may be outside your tent, or maybe your lean-to.
Cardboard box?

wow.... go go no spell check.
anal retentive corrections:
behaviour
inherent
recall
flooding
- technically "somesuch" is two words, but frankly, I'm okay with that.

I like the fact that you didn't actually MAKE a joke about the mall. All you have to say is "the mall" and already it's a joke.
