Oh, Cleon is OOC? To be honest I'm still looking into all the RE shippings...even though that isn't my favorite, I didn't know it was that bad in the OOC department... XD

Eh, I'll try not to for now on...I might as well embrace it at this point, no? :'D though to be honest I try to keep Jill IC somewhat...she's in denial about her feeling for Carlos...her time will come~ Though speaking of fanfics I've yet to get around to reading more than one and two...are some really that bad? XD

Well...I have to be careful with that (the Cleon fans can be savage sometimes)....but I saw/read a lot of fans making them so OOC...mostly Leon...or turning Claire into a housewife *shudders*

Oh and, I love all those stories where at the end of RE2, Claire and Leon decide to adopt Sherry as their daughter!! (sorry...I really don't like that pairing XD)

I think it's inevitable to make your fave pairing OOC, I know I do it with Steve even if I try to stick to his game persona (but it's a bit particular with him because we never got the chance to see him live after Code:Veronica...so who knows how he really was outside of a dangerous situation)

Yeah, I think in the game, Jill kinda liked Carlos, but because of her past experience and of how determined she was to come out of that alive, she had to stay focused and not care about the looks of her hot companion XD they didn't really have "calm moments" where they could just talk or relax a bit (like when Claire and Steve are in the plane in CV)


LOL I've read...awful...awful stories XD and it's a bit sad that you started to have an interest for it right now, because when I became a fan around the year 2000, there were about 500 RE fanfics on fanfiction.net. Now....there are 8,600 of them XD!! and back then, most of them were about RE2, RE3 and CV with decent stories and authors. Now, you only see fanfics about RE4 and RE5, and lots of crack pairings and Cleon and ClairexWesker bullshit AND PEOPLE DON'T KNOW HOW TO WRITE!! I barely take the time to read fanfics these days. (I also write them, but it takes me so much time to do so now)

But, if you're interested to read good ClairexSteve fanfics, ask me! Unfortunately, I don't know any good of CarlosxJill :/

You bring a good point with how we don't know how Steve acts outside of dangerous situations, but wouldn't the plane scene count as a moment outside of danger? Or, does that technically not count since they were still stressed out? <:T

Well, the games are totally not heading toward that direction! (even if Claire is more "sedentary") But yeah, so many fanfics about her and Leon getting married, or Claire being a housewife, waiting for Leon to come back from his missions so she can take care of him! WUT. JUST. NO.

yeah, I liked that time when we could think about what could happen like....5 years later in the games (considering it was mostly taking place in 1998 in the old games), but now, with RE4 and RE5, and now RE6, we're much much more farther in the timeline and so, it's harder to make up your own stories about the future. The characters are getting old lol

Yeah, for comedy, but....Claire x Wesker, that's total crack, and you should see the serious fanfics about them....it's....uughhhhh....

Even if she's more pacifist, she still works to fight bio-terrorism in the world with Terra-Save. lol same with Jill. I was very skeptical about it XD Jill and Chris, among all people, wouldn't be the kind to just stop fighting and have some apple-pie life. XD

The books were written by S.D. Perry. I'm sure you can find them on amazon.com They cover RE0, RE1, RE2, RE3 and CV, and there are 2 original stories which are pretty decent


It's alright to jump in time, but they did it really too suddenly. For many years (from 1996 to 2003 - in our real timeline), the games were taking place in 1998-1999. And then, suddenly, with RE4, they jump 6 years in the future, Umbrella is no more (wut!) and we have no clue about what happened to all the other characters except for Leon, and we don't really know what he actually did during those 6 years. So yeah....kinda weird...that's why they tried to fill the gaps with side games, but...it turned things more confusing XD

LOL I always joked about that with my friends XD can't wait to see the characters when they'll be 70! XD

LOL that boulder XD yeah...and so many people are serious about those. I wouldn't care if they were joking, but a lot of people actually saw Claire/Wesker happening @_____@ (good thing that "trend" is mostly over...you should have seen all those fanart on DA about them in romantic and sexual situations...ughhhh...><)

(I was never attracted by it anyway. I only had a Nintendo 64 when I was a kid, so I've never been a Sega fangirl. And most of the time, I don't enjoy that kind of game anyway )

Yeah...I think people would see them together before RE5, but with RE5, it kinda proved that there was something more going on (but I still think it's the most boring pairing ever!)

If I really had to be honest, I think I'd choose any of the Nintendo 64 games over Sega's creation. :I That, and they took more skill than pressing one button XD

no idea...one of the big problems, I believe, is that the guy who wrote the story of RE2 and Code:Veronica died a few years ago, so now, instead of following his ideas, they just do whatever they want, no matter if it makes sense or not

I used to love Wesker before, but they turned him into this 2-dimensional cartoon villain in RE5. I'm glad they killed him because I wouldn't have liked him to continue being like that =___= and Jill...well...she was kinda manipulated in RE5, so, it's normal that she's a bit different.

Yeah, I guess you can pardon her for that then...But I reallly didn't like Wesker in that game; he seemed like too much of a Matrix spoof, down to the outfit. XP Not to mention I was more of a fan of how collected he was in previous games...or I dunno, he certainly acted differently there. XD

Yeah exactly....he was kinda crazy in Code:Veronica, but it fitted (and his voooiiiceee <333) and you could see that he didn't go "I want to conquer the world"-crazy.

Yeah, I preferred him as a cold scientist aiming for personal fortune and glory in the name of crazy science.
