's about time I got this done. Just got one thing to sat about this...I PHAIL AT CHIBIS @.@
They either turn out extremely demented(which is the point, but this is a bad kind of demented >.< ) or only partially chibi. This one resulted in the latter. xc
Ah, well, you'll live.
Btw, gradients make uber quickie background. The last panel may have the potential to give you a seizure. I still can't draw Lolo for my life(even as a chibi). Redesign Klonoa is fun to draw. And Guntz... well, is there such a thing as being too insane? O.o

Yeah. It wouldn't make any sense if they changed his whole design, especially when considering how Klonoa hovers momentarily while flapping his ears. There would also be endless complaining about it from fans. DX

The first few times I wasn't sure what was going on in this comic. It took me actually browsing through the internet to figure it out. Duurr! XD
Redesigning Klonoa? Sure, I can understand that Namco might want to try something new, but Klonoa's hardly even recognizable anymore in that new one. Fortunately they're not as dumb as SEGA though, or else they wouldnt have even given fans a survey for their imput. I would have liked to have filled it out too, but its not too much of a loss, I guess. As far as I've researched, most people hate the new design, and voted against it anyway, so I highly doubt this will ever get passed.
And besides, how the heck does Namco expect Klonoa levitate with ears THAT small. FTW? o_o;

Yeah. The survey ended a day after it was released. The link was spreading everywhere and apparently only people signed up to their newsletter were supposed to take it. I've yet to see anyone say they like the redesign over the original, though. But some people do like it... while others utterly despise it. XD
It's been assumed that they only did that to see either how many people are interested in Klonoa or catch the attention of new people into Klonoa. It's very doubtful that they'd actually go through with it. I mean, translating and dubbing the Japanese is a huge project in itself. Are we limited North American fans really worth the effort? 8D
I predicted that they'd replace the hover with a double jumps. But that's such a tiresome move. Every game character double jumps... except Link. He doesn't even jump. XD

Unless he has the Roc's Cape. Ironicly, in the Mario games, Red M had many jumps, but he never did do a Double Jump in his core titles.

Lolo's not that hard to draw after a bit of practice. A lot of the characters you've drawn have a lot more difficult features and details to draw, so I'm sure you can draw a very good Lolo with practice.

Yeah, it's... something about drawing people in general. I know I draw most anthro characters similar to how most would draw people, but they still come out looking so demented to me. >.<
