Description Yay Fakiru week! This is for the theme Red. I thought about Carmen first and I wonder if it was because I watched a Courage the Cowardly Dog episode based on it. 0_0 The outfits are loosely based on the ones they actually use. Didn't know that Carmen became a ballet. Was going to add rose petals but I forgot until now, might update this later. Ahiru looks super happy to be up in the air.

They look so happy! I love how many of these pictures you've done; it's like a huge buffet with multiple courses except visual! I really need to work on my comparisons... I love the matching outfits, they're lovely, and I can tell you actually looked into the postures(if not then dang, you've got even crazier skill than I knew already!)

Awww but I love your comparisons! I know Fakiru week was amazing, so many artworks and literature in my notifications each day. XD Oh no I had a reference. XD I'm not good with poses that much, especially when you start getting full bodies involved. Thanks so much!

Thanks so much! Colored pencils is the medium I've had the most practice with so I'm pretty proud of my colored pencil pieces. Also really like watercolor, but that takes more time. XD Yeah I think I finally just figured out my scanner after four years. XD

No problem! ^^ Colored pencils are the best. Ooh watercolors...well I still need to practice with it. Watercolors/paint is not my thing lol I always draw with pencils and pens

They are so fun! XD Me too, I feel like I'm still treating them like acrylic or something. I need to practice with getting that nice fluid look...kinda hard to explain.

I was going with Carmen like opera, remember Habanera? It's the song that often played with Femio, which is the reason I wanted to add flower petals but forgot. XD Yeah! The episode was called Serpent of the Evil River and had a singing sea serpent named Carmen. Thanks!

Anyways yeah the Habanera is the famous song from that opera that everyone seems to know. Cool to find out that they did a ballet version too. XD
