First up: The lines are not mine. I merely coloured this. the lines belong to ~Lomelindi88 And can be found here: [link]I had permission to colour the lines. Remember to ask if you want to colour them too.
Hee! Avian!Roy! And another purple picture from Haku. I've gotta start using other colours, no? These lines were a lot of fun to colour, and I hope my colours didn't ruin them.
Roy isn't mine. Nor is Fullmetal Alchemist. They both belong to Hiromu Arakawa. All hail the cow!
However, The colours and the fiction At War With Angels that this version of Roy features in ARE mine. no stealey.

Thanks so much for the comment! I really loved colouring these lines, they were a real joy, so Lomelindi deserves more credit than I do in this work.
AWWA has undergone several re-writes since the fic got put up on ff.net, so it's come a long way since I first started it also. If you're interested in seeing the characters from the Original Character version, there are a lot of pics up in my gallery in particular of Lief Alexanders (who has the role of 'Ed') and Cain Marx ('Roy') (Not to pimp my own gallery or anything... >_>''')

I haven't written a sequel to the FMA version of AWWA, but I am working on one with the original version. (featuring the original characters that are disturbingly proliffic in my gallery)
I'm actually toying with whether or not I want to put up the sequel as a fanfiction version on ff.net, but unfortunately so many of the details of the original story have been changed (Scenes added/removed) that it's going to be hard to make it compliant with the version up on FF.net. One of the earlier versions of the first chapter is up in my gallery here if you want to read it.

Is printshop REALLY expensive? If it can create something like this, I would luv to try it. But I heard its so expensive...

Yup. Photoshop is VERY expensive, but it's not really about the program you use. Photoshop is easy once you know the program, but it's difficult to learn if you're not explicitly taught. There are other programs (such as OC4, Corel Painter etc.) which are easier to learn and can produce works that are as good as works in photoshop.
And in the end, it's not about what program you use, but just practise and care. Some of the best works I've seen were produced in paint of all things. If you take time, you can produce great works using any program.

I use Photoshop CS2 to do all my lining and colouring, but it's a bit expensive if you're just looking for something to start with.
I'd suggest a cheaper alternative like OpenCanvas or Corel Painter to begin with (because Photoshop is a LOT to fork out for.), but it's really not about the program, jsut the level of practise a person has had using their program. Some of the best artworks I've seen have been done in (believe it or not) Windows Paint.

anyhoo, i'm still working on getting ed up but i found out i drew his porportions reeeeally wrong and the only part i like about it so far is the head. so if u get a disembodied head next, would u mind terribly?

lol. I hate Ed's proportions. He's so SHORT AND ANNOYING. -she says, convineintly forgetting she's Ed's height- So yeah, I can sympathise with you there.
Umm... well, none of the characters really have an official 'outfit' as such. so anything is good. XD -is such a looser- But Al would probably wear something he could move easily in. Neither of the boys are particularly obsessed with fashion after all. (Except Ed's red on black fetish.)
