Words cannot describe how extremely proud of myself I am with this picture, and I can't even explain why. Maybe it's that expression of his... I absolutely love it.

Yuan Shao the Hare.

Hares in the Redwall verse are the quirky, militaristic type that serve as the soldiers and guardians of the Badger mountain, Salamandastron. Most hares are naturally gluttonous, egotistical and outright eccentric, on and off the battlefield, and are full of character. Most hares, due to their strenuous training and upbringing, are disciplined and confident, but are susceptible to many flaws.

A hare just fits Yuan Shao, as he's full of himself, quirky and eccentric in behavior, and without a doubt a man held in high respects when it comes to military affairs.

(Also, some interesting trivia- did you know that Yuan Shao and Lu Meng came from the same district/province? Yuan Shao was a noblemen and Lu Meng began as a peasant... just thought I'd share this bit of info.)
